Niche

Mountain-man survival lore, recently shifting to US wildlife science stories

Audience

Adult outdoors, survival and prepper-minded viewers who like old-time frontier skills and thrifty tricks; the newest uploads also address wildlife and science-curious viewers (inferred from titles, descriptions and the about text).

Avatar

• Realistic avatar
• A weathered bearded man in a wide-brim hat and worn frontier clothing, shown in camps, deserts and snowy woods. Wildlife thumbnails show animals instead of the persona.

Format

About 20-minute explainers: a hook about a forgotten mistake or trick, then listicle steps or a story. Newer wildlife videos open with a place-based scene, a failed explanation and a question.

Typical length

15–23 min
