About

About the data.

Last updated October 4, 2026

avatarchannels is a curated library of YouTube channels whose on-screen host is an AI avatar. For each channel it shows public statistics, who the persona is, what the channel sells and how it sells it. It is run by the makers of Frontier, a video tool; the “Get Frontier” buttons link to it.

Where each part comes from

  • Channel and video statistics (subscribers, views, videos, daily growth, top and latest videos) are public YouTube data, refreshed daily. YouTube rounds subscriber counts, so small changes can be invisible; a dash (—) means a figure is not known, never zero. Use of YouTube data is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
  • What a channel sells comes from our own check of the public links on the channel’s About page and in its video descriptions, and of the public store pages they lead to: product, price as shown, platform, and the date we last looked. Prices can change after that date.
  • The analysis (niche, audience, persona, avatar style, format, why it works) is our own research, not data from YouTube. Parts are drafted by AI from the channel’s public titles, descriptions and thumbnails and are marked “AI-assisted”, with a small “AI” next to each such field; whether an editor has reviewed it yet is in the mark’s tooltip. An editor reviews the drafts, and AI never overwrites an editor’s change.
  • Ads are shown only as Yes, No or Unknown. The library never shows revenue estimates, and it never republishes video descriptions or comments.

Accuracy

The library is maintained with care but can be wrong or out of date: statistics lag YouTube by up to a day, store pages change, and an AI-assisted judgement such as “likely an AI avatar” is an opinion from public material, not a fact about the people behind a channel. If you spot a mistake, write to a contact address that will be listed here before the site launches.

For channel owners

If you run a channel listed here, you can ask us to correct its entry or to remove it from the library. Write to a contact address that will be listed here before the site launches from an address we can match to the channel (for example the one on its About page), with the channel’s link. We review every request and reply.

Using the data

A free, read-only API and MCP server serve the library’s own research (analysis, offers, funnels). See API & MCP. If you reuse anything, credit avatarchannels.com.
