RV and motorhome buying advice: models to avoid, cheap keepers, new rules

Audience

Older North American RV and motorhome buyers and owners, including retirees and seniors, who want models to avoid, cheap reliable options and warnings about rules and dealer tricks (inferred from the titles, the about text and the US prices and rules in the transcripts).

Avatar

• Realistic avatar
• An older man with grey hair, a moustache and glasses, shown mostly in a navy work jacket beside a motorhome, trailer or van, pointing at it or holding out a hand. The avatar shows him mid-speech in a brown jacket in front of RVs on a lot.

Format

A countdown or tips list of 5–22 RVs, brands or rules, about 20 minutes: facts such as recall numbers, prices and fees, one assignment for the viewer, then a comment vote that picks a future video and a teaser for the next one; no product is pitched.

• Banned, illegal and new RV rules by state

Why it works

• Two list videos on overlooked and banned RVs (23,176 and 14,358 views) hold about 44% of the channel's 85,652 total views
• Title formula: 24 of 27 RV titles carry a list count and 11 a year; the 4 most viewed titles each use a warning or regret word
• Thumbnail template: the same older man in a navy work jacket, open hand or pointing in 7 of 10, with a short all-caps headline
• Daily output: 27 long videos of about 18–23 minutes in 27 days, 12 Sep to 8 Oct
• Scripts rest on checkable facts (recall numbers, auction fees, warranty terms) and give the viewer one assignment, as both transcripts show
