Niche

Italian grandma cooking for seniors living alone: cheap single-serving dinners

Audience

Seniors cooking for one on a small budget who want easy, low-cleanup Italian-style dinners (inferred from 'Seniors Living Alone' titles, cost-per-plate claims and single-portion promises); the older 'grandma trick' videos also reach general home cooks.

Avatar

• Realistic avatar
• A photorealistic very old woman (titles say 91) with white hair in an updo, often tied with a red bow, round glasses on a chain, and a blue gingham or red-white-green striped apron over a green cardigan or cream blouse; the avatar is a smiling close-up in a floral apron.

Format

A numbered list of 10-20 cheap single-serving dinners for seniors cooking for one (earlier: one old Italian 'trick' per video), told in the persona's own voice with cost per plate and portions saved for tomorrow, and a closing comment prompt; descriptions open with a store link.

Typical length

Lists since Sep 26: 19-28 min; earlier trick videos: 7-18 min

Thumbnails

The same white-haired grandma (often with a red hair bow and a striped or gingham apron) smiling beside one or two large plates of steaming food; a bold banner headline in red-and-yellow, green or white bars, with 'FOR ONE' or 'UNDER $3 EACH' cost and portion callouts.

Why it works

• The 10 titles naming 'Seniors' average about 945 views, the other 16 about 459, though the group is newer on average (counts are 10-49 days old)
• A persona backstory repeats: Naples, a mother who fed eleven from one gas ring, and an age of 91 in 4 titles, in the about text and in descriptions
• Cost and portion promises sit on the thumbnail: 'FOR ONE', 'UNDER $3 EACH' or 'NO LEFTOVERS' in 6 of 10, plus a banner headline in all 10
• High output: 26 videos in 40 days (Aug 25-Oct 3), about 4.5 a week, with 7 longer list videos (19-28 min) from Sep 26
