Analysis

Persona
Megan Hayes
Expert · Young adult · Female · Golf course tee box
- Niche
Driver distance tips for senior golfers
- Audience
Older golfers losing distance off the tee who want yards back without swinging harder; inferred from both titles ("Senior Golfers", "Outdrive Younger Players") and the description hooks.
- Avatar
- Realistic avatar
- A photorealistic young blonde woman in a white visor, light-blue polo and white skirt, shown full-length on a bright course or beside a golfer, pointing at a ball-flight line.
- Format
One distance fix per video for older golfers: reassurance that age is not the cause, a first-person story about a teaching pro, then a drill; descriptions open with an ebook link and a membership link.
- Content pillars
- Senior driver distance
- Setup and ball position fixes
- Effortless swing drills
- Title patterns
- [N] Senior Driver Tricks to [Outcome]
- Senior Golfers Can Still [Result] — It's NOT Your Age!
- Thumbnails
The persona in visor and light-blue polo on a vivid green course, huge red and green yardage numbers (before/after or "283 Yards ZERO Effort"), a short headline and a glowing ball-flight trace.
Their thumbnails, most viewed first
- Why it works
- A narrow promise to one audience: both titles speak to seniors losing distance, and the first video reached 47,505 views within about two days
- Both descriptions open with reassurance ("It isn't your age, and it isn't your fault") before naming the fix
- Concrete numbers in the thumbnails: 192 to 248 yards, and 283 yards with zero effort
- A persona backstory in the descriptions, including a teaching pro who gave her the key sentence
