Niche

Silver coin checks before selling: Morgans, Silver Eagles, Kennedy halves

Audience

People who own or inherited silver coins and want to check what they have before selling or paying for grading, plus savers near retirement who may take an interest in gold and silver IRAs (inferred from titles, the about text, descriptions and the retirement segment in the transcripts; the pack has no audience statistics).

Avatar

• Talking head
• A realistic man with short dark hair and round dark-rimmed glasses, in a white collared shirt; the avatar shows him at a desk with a lapel microphone in a bright study with bookshelves and plants. In thumbnails he appears head-and-shoulders beside coin close-ups, wide-eyed or with a raised palm.

Format

Short checklist video (mostly about 6 min): a coin question as the hook, what to check (date, mint mark, condition, documented features), what to photograph, sources to compare, a mid-video retirement-savings segment, and a prompt to comment.

Content pillars

• Kennedy half-dollar checks
• Morgan dollar identification
• Silver Eagle buying and care checks
• Selling and valuation cautions (grading, cleaning, auction prices)
• Retirement-savings segment (gold and silver IRA)

Title patterns

• [Coin]: Check the Date, Mint Mark, and Condition Before You Sell
• Should You [do X] a Silver Coin? Check This Before You Touch It
• Before You Trust [X], Check This on [Y]
• [Year] SILVER [COIN]? Check These Features Before Using a Rare-Coin Price
• [Year] [Coin]: Silver Value or Rare Variety?

Thumbnails

A man with round glasses and a white shirt on the right, wide-eyed, with a raised palm or pointing; a large coin close-up on the left; a big 'CHECK BEFORE …' or 'DON'T … YET!' headline in white, yellow or red capitals; arrows, circles or crosses in red or green, and gold light effects.

Why it works

• Cautionary framing: 4 of 5 titles contain 'Check' and 4 of 5 'Before'; thumbnails read 'CHECK BEFORE SELLING' or 'DON'T CLEAN YET!'
• One thumbnail template in 5 of 5 videos: the same glasses-wearing presenter, a coin close-up, big caps headline, arrows, circles or crosses
• Source trail in the descriptions: 8 links to mint, grading-service, auction and consumer-agency pages across the 5 descriptions
• All 5 descriptions open with the same call to action for a gold and silver IRA info kit; both caption excerpts add a retirement-savings segment
• Steady start: 5 videos from Oct 1 to Oct 11 (about 2.5 a week), 3 of them near 6 min
