# AI Avatar Library (avatarchannels.com) > A library of YouTube channels presented by AI avatars: who they are, avatarchannels.com's own analysis of each channel (niche, audience, persona, avatar style, why it works), the products they sell and how their sales funnels work. Free, read-only, no key, no sign-in. Refreshed daily. Live channel statistics (subscribers, views, growth, video lists) are not served by the API or the MCP server yet; they are on the website only. Analysis fields are marked "ai", "ai_reviewed" or "human", and an analysis with any AI-drafted field is marked AI-assisted. No revenue figures are published anywhere. Attribution: Channel statistics: YouTube. Analysis and offers: avatarchannels.com. When citing a channel, link its library_url (https://avatarchannels.com/c/). Show channel statistics as YouTube data. Do not present the analysis, offers or funnels as YouTube data. ## MCP server - [MCP endpoint](https://avatarchannels.com/mcp): Streamable HTTP, stateless, no authentication. - Claude Code: `claude mcp add --scope user --transport http avatar-channels https://avatarchannels.com/mcp` (--scope user makes it available in every project). - claude.ai and Claude Desktop: Customize > Connectors > Add custom connector, this URL, no authentication. - Cursor: `.cursor/mcp.json` {"mcpServers": {"avatar-channels": {"url": "https://avatarchannels.com/mcp"}}}. VS Code: `.vscode/mcp.json` {"servers": {"avatar-channels": {"type": "http", "url": "https://avatarchannels.com/mcp"}}}. - Clients that run only local (stdio) servers: `npx -y mcp-remote https://avatarchannels.com/mcp`. Tools (all read-only): - search_channels: find and rank channels by topic, persona gender, age and role, language, country, what they sell and at what price, channel age and upload rate (plus subscribers, growth, views and ads in the statistics tier); lists mean any of, numbers are ranges, and `query` ranks by matching words. - get_channel: one channel in depth: persona, topics, our analysis, its products with prices, the sales funnel and links; accepts a name, @handle, slug or YouTube URL and suggests candidates on a miss. - find_offers: products the channels sell (ebooks, cookbooks, courses …): by type, platform, USD price range, product words, or the channel's topic, gender and language; cheapest first. - compare_channels: 2 to 5 channels side by side, with the leader of each metric. - library_overview: what the library holds: counts per topic, language, country, gender, persona, offer type and price range. - Not in this tier: get_channel_videos and get_growth (they serve YouTube statistics). Lists return 10 rows by default and 25 at most. Unknown parameters are refused with the list of valid ones; list filters take any of several values; languages and countries may be codes or English names. Prices are shown as money ("$39.99"). sells "none found" means no product was found yet. No need to call library_overview first: search_channels lists its valid values in its schema. ## REST API - [API index](https://avatarchannels.com/api/v1): version, links, attribution and the data date. - [OpenAPI 3.1](https://avatarchannels.com/api/v1/openapi.json): every endpoint, parameter and field. - [Channels](https://avatarchannels.com/api/v1/channels): search and list. Filters: q, topic, niche, gender, lang, country, style, motion, persona, age, started, uploads, length, sells, offer, price, platform. Sorts: newest, price, uploads, name. Paging: limit (1-100), offset. facets=1 adds the valid values. - [One channel](https://avatarchannels.com/api/v1/channels/{slug}): by slug, UC id or @handle; /offers for its offers and funnel. - [Offers](https://avatarchannels.com/api/v1/offers): products across the library, cheapest first; type, platform, price_min, price_max (USD), channel. - [Compare](https://avatarchannels.com/api/v1/compare?channels=a,b): 2 to 5 channels side by side. - [Stats](https://avatarchannels.com/api/v1/stats): totals and every filter's valid values. - [Export](https://avatarchannels.com/api/v1/export.json): every published channel in one response (identity, analysis, offers, funnels, links; never statistics). Responses are JSON with a `meta` object (source, powered_by, as_of, tier, docs). Errors are RFC 9457 problem details that name the valid values. GET only, CORS open, cached up to 15 minutes; about 20 requests a second per client, then 429 with Retry-After. REST money is in cents (amount_cents 3999 = $39.99) and growth_pct_30d is a ratio (0.12 = +12 %). ## Docs - [Developer guide](https://avatarchannels.com/developers): endpoints, curl examples, adding the server to Claude, Cursor or VS Code, limits and attribution terms. - [The library](https://avatarchannels.com/): the website, with the full statistics.
